The following statements are a brief update to the previously announced Guidelines regarding the 2021 Pool season.
Pool times: 12pm-8pm (Please view Pool Rules 2021 for additional information)
Sign-in:
Residents will line up in a single file line so that each resident can scan their key fob when coming in (each key fob must be scanned)
Residents that bring a guest or grandchildren (granny pass) must tell the front desk associate for payment (if needed) and guest waiver. Guests 18 years or older will have to sign the waiver and minors will have the waiver signed for them by an adult of the household.
Masks:
In accordance with the CDC, wearing masks outside will be optional when in the pool area. This is considered a personal health decision to be made by residents. Those using the pool area are still welcome to wear masks or a face covering if they feel it is beneficial to their health.
Capacity:
The capacity for the pool area this season will be much less restrictive as the township permits 192 occupants in the pool area. This is relative to the “normal” max capacity as legally permitted by the fire marshal.
Time Increments:
Previously stated as ‘subject to change’, the 2-hour time increments at the pool enforced last season will no longer be in effect with the updated capacity permitted at the facility this season.
Guest Policy:
Residents will be allowed to bring guests this season as previous years (Limit 4 per household). Guests will be asked to sign a liability waiver each day they attend the pool. *Guests must be 18 or older to sign a liability day-waiver, otherwise an adult from the household will sign and take responsibility for them.* The fee remains $5 per guest for the day and payments will be sent via Venmo this season (@Newtown-Grant) *subject to change* Do Not Make Payments Until you are at the front desk.
Grandchildren:
If residents plan on bringing grandchildren who are not Newtown Grant residents to the pool, a member of Recreation Management staff will make a note of this in your digital profile when obtaining your Key Fob. We welcome our residents who plan to spend time at the pool with their grandchildren to do so! (Limit 4 per household)
Furniture:
Will be laid out this season for residents to use. Residents no longer need to bring their own furniture as township restrictions have been lifted.
Additional Key Fob information:
Any resident receiving a Key Fob must be in person to sign the safety waiver and have a photo taken for their digital profile in the Fob system. Residents with an outstanding balance in Association Fees will not have access to the fob system and must pay their balance in full to register and obtain their Key Fob. Account Balance payments can be made using: www.clickpay.com/firstservice
As always, we look forward to having a great season at the Newtown Grant Clubhouse Pool this year!
